You can make some modifications to the orginal template to customize the garments if you wish. This template is for practicing how to display patterns for a line. All vector garment elements must be an an enclosed line to fill correctly with pattern, this will be covered in Level 2. |

Flat #2: Part 1 is in Illustrator and part 2 is in Photoshop. In this assignment we are using some Web images to create a top and shorts. Follow along with the video to learn the technique before you use this technique to create your own original garments. You can use this technique to sketch your own orginal designs. You can take a digital photograph of a garment you created or you can locate a garment similar to what you have in mind and use it as a loose guide to develop your own orginal garment making your own custom styling changes to it. |
