Module Eight: Preparing Fashion Package and Collection File/Folder Organization and Permissions.

Creating and Organizing the MY_COLLECTION FOLDER under CLOTHING FOLDER.

The video tutorial below will demonstrate for you should create a MY_COLLECTION folder under your CLOTHING folder in INVENTORY. In the MY_COLLECTION folder you will create a sub-folder for each fashion outfit you plan to have in your collection.

Determine what your Brand name will be - it can be part of your avatar name or it can be something else. Each sub-folder in MY_COLLECTION will be named with the Brand name followed by a number [ex: Finny1, Finny1, Finny3, etc.]

Each brand name sub-folder should have ALL file items that you created to complete the outfit. DO NOT include any items that are non-transferable. If it is an item you received from a freebie place to cmomplete the outfit - for example shoes - check the permissions to make sure the items are transferable and can be copied.

Individual file items should be named with brand folder name and number followed by item name.

Open file permissions of individual file items in your brand sub-folders as demonstrated in the video tutorials.

Double and triple check check file/folder names, file permissions and making sure all parts of fashion outfits are located in the correct folders.
